Board of Directors

Katie Towler is with the Northwest Area Education Association (NWAEA). Katie holds a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Iowa, a master's degree in school counseling from the University of Phoenix- Denver, and an educational specialist degree from the University of South Dakota. Prior to her time at NAEA, Katie was with Northeast Community College and also served students in Sioux City as a school counselor and principal for a combined 20 years.  Katie's passion for serving the traditionally underserved continues through her work on the MRHD board and as a volunteer with the Norm Waitt YMCA.
