Margret Kohles, LMHP
Margret Kohles is originally from southwest Minnesota. She got her undergraduate degree from Minnesota State University, Moorhead in Art with an Emphasis in Drawing and received her Master of Art in Art Therapy with an Emphasis in Counseling degree from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College in Indiana. Margret did her internship with Heartland Counseling Services. After grad school Margret worked at Adventist Health, Castle in Kailua, HI in their inpatient behavioral health unit. She then worked for Alakai Na Keiki in Honolulu, working with children and families doing mental health counseling and RBT work. She worked for AbleTo with clients in Hawaii doing CBT and DBT work for three years. She moved to North Sioux City with her husband and two sons. Margret specializes in CBT and art therapy modalities and works with a wide range of ages and diagnoses. Margaret started working at Heartland as a contractor from July 2024 to July 2026. In July 2026, she transitioned into her current role as an outpatient therapist.
