Steve Brewster
Steve Brewster is a school-based Youth Peer Support Specialist at O'Neill Public Schools. He received a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and his law degree from the UN-L College of Law. Steve's experience includes representation of youth and parents in juvenile court proceedings, acting as a GAL, and representation of clients in criminal and family law proceedings.
Steve and his daughter are both dual citizens of the United States and Canada. He has experience consulting for community nonprofit and economic development organizations in both countries. He considers himself a student of leadership, and his experience includes leading trips for the Appalachian Mountain Club, as well as the Colorado Outward Bound School as a graduate of the National Outdoor Leadership School. He has served on the Nebraska Community Foundation board of directors, many community organizations, and is especially proud of his work as the chair of the Stuart Community Foundation Fund. He spends his spare time visiting his daughter's family in NYC, riding his bicycles and making music with friends.
