Angela Harrison joined the Heartland team as the Marketing & Development Director in 2024. Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Angela has called Siouxland home for the past four years. Angela graduated from Drake University with a BAJ in Broadcast News, BA in Sociology, and a concentration in business law. Before joining Heartland, Angela's work in broadcast news and PR took her to several states, including sunny South Carolina.

Angela has served as the vice president of Siouxland Growth Organization and sat on the Downtown Partners board. She also graduated from Leadership Siouxland in 2024. She's still passionate about making Siouxland a prosperous place to work and live.

Outside of work, you're likely to catch Angela at one of the local coffee shops in town. Angela enjoys being a "foodie" and cooking with her husband, playing with her dog Cooper (named after Anderson Cooper), watching Vikings football and the Minnesota Wild, and going on adventures with her husband, Jonathan.
